"Da Vinci Code" pulls in $224M worldwide.

So once again, all the caterwauling and rending of mantles by the Catholic Church over the sacrilege and blasphemy depicted in a film makes even MORE people go see the movie than would have ordinarily.

I wonder if the Vatican actually owns shares in Sony Pictures.

"We can still catch the 2:30 screening..."
